    The Basics of the Guardian Program:
    A dog needs to be a part of the family to develop their full potential. This is the reason we have a guardian dog program.
    The family must be approved as guardian parents and agree to abide by our contract of care.
    When a female comes into her 2nd heat cycle ( at 5th day) and stay with us until she has mated with the selected stud. SOMetimeS GUARDIANS MiSS THE 1st HEAT CYCLE, sO WE WILL BREED AT 18 MONTHS OR oLDER. ( PLEASE HAVE THE DAM IN A SHORT HAIRCUT TO REDUCE THE CHANCE OF MATTING)
    This could mean that she is with us approx. 5 to 7 days. After being bred she will go back to her guardian home. 5 to 7 days before whelping (determined by breeder), she comes back to our home and has her babies here IN OUR HOME. ( PLEASE HAVE THE DAM SHAVED TO REDUCE THE CHANCE OF MATTING) and stays until after she weans the pups (around 5-6 weeks).
    IF AGREED UPON, BREEDER WILL ALLOW THE GUARDIAN TO RAISE THE PUPPIES IN THEIR HOME IF BREEDER FEELS THE GUARDIAN IS A EXPERIENCED GUARDIAN WITH WHELPING AND RAISING PUPPIES.

    What are the Guardian Family's Responsibilities?
    Transportation to and from Pigs N Poodles when necessary
    expected to feed quality food/ vitamins during pregnancy. The guardian is responsible to take care of all the pet type fees as if it were your dog. (food, vet bills and care). THE GUARDIAN MUST SOCIALIZE THE DOG AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO TAKE THE DOG EVERYWHERE WITH YOU AS YOU CAN.

    Females are in guardianship until they HAVE 2 complete litters (less than 3 puppies would not be counted as a complete litter). PIGSNPOODLES AND Whitney Maguire WILL SPLIT THE LITER OF PUPPIES AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN WEANED FROM THE MOTHER. PIGSNPOODLES HAS FIRST CHOICE IN THE PICK IN THE SPLIT OF THE LITER OF PUPPIES. AFTER 2 COMPLETE LITERS FROM EACH FEMALE,ownership will be signed over to WHITNEY MAGUIRE.

    Guardian homes should have the following:
    *KEEP THE 2 GOLDENDOODLES ON FLEA/TICK PREVENTION ALONG WITH A MONTHLY HEART GUARD PREVENTION.
    * BE WILLING TO SOCIALIZE THE DOGS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
    • provide high quality food as well as ANY VET VISITS & vaccines NEEDED.
    * Be able to keep the dog CLEAN & groomed
    * DAM MUST BE IN A SHORT HAIRCUT DURNING BREEDING ( THIS AVOIDS MATTING)
    *DAM MUST BE SHAVED BEFORE SHE WHELP HER PUPPIES. ( THIS AVOIDS MATTING)
    ​* Be able to send pictures & PROGRESS OF THE 2 FEMALES
    • Be available to drive dog to and from our home for breeding and whelping,UNLESS WE AGREE ON WHITNEY WHELPING AND RAISING THE PUPPIES AT HER HOME. GuardIans responsible to pick up / deliver to us as NEEDED FOR BREEDING/WHELPING.
    • Keep us updated on the dog’s progress via email or text.
    * When in heat, we must be notified ON DAY 1,via phone 931-265-0515 and email- [email protected]. Pictures via TEXT/email

    •It is the responsibility of the guardian parents to make sure the dogs remain in good health. The guardian parents are required to keep the dog current on routine veterinary care, shots, rabies, and good grooming. The guardian parents must keep us informed of the female’s cycles. Females can come into season 2 times a year but it is usually every 8 to 12 months. When a female starts to cycle or first drop of blood we expect to get an email or a phone call. Repeated attempts to contact us should continue, until confirmation is received from us that we have heard from you.

    What If I Have Another Dog Already In My Home?
    under no circumstances can the females mate with another stud other than pigsnpoodles stud unless a written agreement has been chosen and agreed upon.

    Who Owns the Dog:
    Pigs N Poodles owns the dogS until breeding obligations are met. We sign a contract with the guardian family clearly identifying that we have full breeding rights . The dogS remains registered in our name until breeding obligations are complete. . Once the breeding obligations are met YOU, we will transfer ownership of the dogS to the guardian. If at anytime the guardian family can no longer care for the dogS, they agree to return THEM to Pigs N Poodles. The dogS may not be sold or given to any other party without prior written permission from Pigs N Poodles

    Monetary Requirements & Penalties:
    If the female is bred or neutered without permission from Tamara Brady, Pigs N Poodles, there is LEGAL penalty and all puppies and monies produced from this are property of Tamara Brady , Pigs N Poodles. Legal action will be started for the breach in contract. Any legal fees OCcurred by Pigs N Poodles to enforce this agreement are the sole responsibility of the Guardian home
